An evening of Spanish Wines celebrating women winemakers

Taking part for the first time in the worldwide celebration of Spanish Wine, WILDE is delighted to invite you on Wednesday 10th April to a fascinating five-course tasting menu each of them paired with five Spanish wines.

To make the evening more unique, WILDE has developed a tasting dinner experience to celebrate women in winemaking. Selected among the many Spanish producers, all the five wines served on the night are produced by two very talented women winemakers from two leading wineries well known among wine lovers in Spain and abroad. Cristina Bernedo of winery Conde de Valdemar in Rioja and Alicia Eyaralar of Bodega Tandem in Navarra - who will be present and will be sharing her passion for wine with the guests attending the evening.

To remain loyal to the theme, Master of Wine Lynne Coyle Director of O’Briens Wines will host the dinner.

Greeted with a Cava reception, our guests will be enjoying a Spanish influenced menu developed exclusively for this evening by executive chef Sandeep Singh. Starting with a sharing vegetarian Charcuterie that brings together the colourful Mediterranean vegetables and the famous Manchego cheese and followed by a signature Spanish classic Tortilla, guests will then indulge in two mains, roasted giant tiger prawns spiced with smoked paprika and iberico chorizo and a supreme Grilled John stone sirloin steak accompanied with delicious Serrano ham croquettes. The dinner will close with a creative dessert featuring sweet and savoury flavours: Queso Mahon served with Plum Chutney, Charcoal Crackers, & Sourdough
