This year, WILDE will launch the first four of a succession of exclusive winemaker dinners featuring chief winemakers from the world’s leading wineries. This series of utterly unique events are the only one of their kind to take place in Ireland in the coming months and makes for a truly memorable and unique gift for wine connoisseurs and food lovers.

Chateau Musar Wine Evening Hosted by Chief Winemaker Tarek Sakr  - Thursday 23 January

Chateau Musar, founded in 1930 by Gaston Hochar, is regarded by many as an icon winery of the world. Chateau Musars home is in the Beqaa Valley in Lebanon, where it produces some of the most revered red wine that finds itself on many of the world’s most prestigious restaurant wine lists.

On January 23rd 2020, WILDE, together with Findlater & Co. is delighted to welcome Tarek Sakr, Chief Winemaker of Chateau Musar and Export Director, Jane Sowter for an evening of the finest wine & food.

‘Discovered’ at the Bristol Wine Fair in 1979 by leading journalists of the time, we are very proud to pay homage to this momentous year for Chateau Musar by pouring their 1979 vintage on the evening for the guests attending.

Cakebread Cellars Wine Evening hosted by Chief Winemaker & Owner Bruce Cakebread - Wednesday February 5th 2020

Founded in 1973, Cakebread Cellars is one of the greatest and most established winery of Napa Valley, California. Led by the charismatic Bruce Cakebread - WILDE, alongside Febvre Wines is delighted to welcome on February 5th one of the pioneers of world-class Californian Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay to host an evening of seasonal Irish produce and fine Napa wine.

La Rioja Alta Wine Dinner hosted by Chief Winemaker  Julio Sáenz – Tuesday, April 14th 2020

Founded in 1890, La Rioja Alta is a very traditional Rioja that is an icon winery of the region. Revered by many as the greatest winery in Rioja, this is the first time La Rioja Alta will host an evening on Irish shores with their chief winemaker.

On April 14th, WILDE, alongside Celtic Whiskey Shop & Wines on The Green, is delighted to welcome La Rioja Alta Chief Winemaker, Julio Sáenz, and Export Director Francisco Corpas for an evening of quality Irish food paired alongside the hallmark of Spanish Wines.

Gaia Wine Evening Hosted by Chief Winemaker Leon Karatsalos - Thursday April 30th  2020

Greece’s answer to Spain’s Albariño, Assyrtiko is the white wine that’s found fame amongst wine lovers, critics, and sommeliers in recent years. Gaia Winery, founded in 1994, produces benchmark expressions of this varietal throughout its home in Santorini, and Nemea in Greece. WILDE is delighted to collaborate for a once-off evening with Leon Karatsalos, chief winemaker of Gaia and O’Briens Wine celebrating the these top Greek wines paired alongside our seasonal Irish produce.
